Best chocolate babka I have ever had! East to find across the common. So delicious and staff was very friendly.
OMG, Bakey! We have come here every time we go to Boston. The fresh chocolate babka is unparalleled. It's my favorite treat after running the marathon every year. Their other baked goods and sandwiches are great too, but that chocolate babka is what chocolate/bread lovers dream of. The service is prompt and friendly. It's mostly a takeout place, with a small interior space. They sell various coffee drinks as well. It's 100% worthwhile, if you're in Boston!
Get the pistachio babka you will not be disappointed! I haven't visited the location and revived the babka as a gift and once I took a bite my mouth was reminded of what heaven tastes like. I'll certainly come here on my own again and highly recommend!
I've only tried their babka and I've tried a lot of them. They're really satisfying! But they also offer a diverse menu of comforting baked goods! Everything looks delicious!
Bakey was delicious! I got the raspberry babka and the pumpkin babka. Both were sooo good and tasted so fresh. There was plenty of seating inside as well. Great spot of a unique sweet treat!
I like to pop by Bakey on days I work downtown for an excellent ice coffee and an inevitable pastry ! I believe the Babka's are their signature item and they do not disappoint - the Raspberry was especially delicious, a perfect sweet fruity tang surrounded by flaky pastry. The apple and chocolate are also outstanding, choco chip cookie top notch, and a premade bagel sandwich good (loved all the veggies on top). It's Kosher so it worked out perfectly when I was looking for a gift for a Kosher coworker and has a nice open, clean space looking out onto the Boston Common. I don't doubt the other locations are excellent as well. Check it out!
The chocolate babka is for real! I'd go just to get that but they also have other delicious treats. We stopped by for the sandwiches on challa bagel. The tuna salad didn't have celery in it so it was delicious. The egg salad bagel sandwich was also good. Service was helpful and friendly. There are tables inside and out to eat right by Boston Commons. Go for the chocolate babka!
This bakery is so good and everything smelled delicious. I got the mushroom babka and my friend got the potato bureka. The mushroom was mouthwatering and was so savory. My friend enjoyed the potato bureka and even went back the same day to get another item. They warmed everything up too so it was nice and crispy. Excellent service :) There's also plenty of tables and seats. Some people were working on their laptops too
